Monday NIght Service

Well, if you weren't able to come, you just missed it. We had another good message from the Lord about "Because of God's Mercy..." taken from Romans 12:1. We were encouraged to put our lives on display, to die daily and become a living sacrifice and to be holy.

In one illustration he asked if we knew there was a hole in the floor of our house and every morning we got up, we walked straight toward that hole and tripped and fell in day after day after day, wouldn't that be kind of foolish? But don't we sometimes do just that instead of going around the hole and avoiding it? Another interesting saying was that sometimes the church will save 'em, soak 'em, and set 'em instead of the church trying to win 'em, wet 'em, and work 'em. Think on that one.

To put icing on the cake, one young lady came forward to make a public profession of her faith! Her name is Heather. Please rejoice with us and pray for her.
