Beware
End of Revival services always seem a little sad. Some would say, let's keep a goin'. And if that were the will of the Father, it would be a good thing. But at some point in time the meetings do cease and we are expected to take what we have heard and apply it directly to our lives. My, my what a big job~
Just a gentle warning to beware and be on guard for our advisary. We have had such good meetings. We wouldn't want to let our guard down and give Satan or any of his a foothold in our personal lives or in the church as a whole. Satan does not like anything that would bring the Lord's people any closer than what they are. And right now, he's probably very upset with our services. So, just keep your eyes and your mind on the Lord today and just don't give him any reason to feel welcome.
If any do, let's pray that the destructive fire is quickly quenched and let those things die. Sometimes we just mess up. Hopefully this doesn't apply to anyone at church or in our community, but is only a reminder to pray and continue to be excited.
I wonder what message the Lord has for us tonight. I am anticipating something timely and motivating. Aren't you excited?
